Errors when cloning a repository from a GIT server that requires credentials

Tested on Linux Mint 19 (Ubuntu 18.04 based) using the .DEB and AppImage packages.

When cloning a repository from a GIT server that requires credentials, the application hangs on the "Cloning repository" pop-up with the following errors: (log file attached)

• fatal: could not read Username for 'http://repo_url_here:8080': No such device or address
• breadcrumbs.ts:103 Error: Cannot use simple-git on a directory that does not exist.
• renderer.js:1 Uncaught (in promise) Error: Cannot use simple-git on a directory that does not exist.

I don't know if this got fixed but stopped using this app
