Display currently active branch, for example in the top-right corner.

Open a terminal, check there. Or exit gitui, check the branch and launch it again.

there are multiple places where the active branch name is shown, which gitui version do you see this lacking?

I cannot reproduce the problem, please reopen and add more detail if it still applies

Indeed. How about (optional) highlight with red for visually-challenged people? :)

Not sure I follow - this is the vanilla terminal font 90% of gitui uses it. are talking about that one hard to read?

I guess the active branch is so important to many people that we even add it to our shell prompt - the most verbose you can be. So, maybe it would be reasonable to offer a color override for that branch display in the theme?

@naseschwarz sounds good to me. Let’s maybe use the same color as for branch names as in the log already instead of adding another theme key?
