Support ESA's new EOPF Zarr Format #269
Description
ESA has converted the SAFE formats of Sentinel-1, -2, and -3 into Zarr formats, with early samples made available via the EOPF Zarr Sample Service. This new format has been presented at several conferences this year, and feedback from the community highlighted the benefit of supporting it in stackstac.
The EOPF Zarr Sample Service provides cloud-hosted sample data along with a STAC Catalog for easy discovery.
Do you think it would be feasible for stackstac to support the new EOPF Zarr format, enabling direct access to ESA’s Sentinel archive? The xarray-eopf plugin could potentially serve as a reader to facilitate integration.
