Hello, I have a couple of questions to maybe help debug this. What does your path look like? Do you have escript installed? Is it correctly added to the path? What directory are you running the tests from?

I have been running the build and test for over a year without any problems. This just started with v1.9.0-rc1

This is what I have in regards to your questions:

git clone https://github.com/gleam-lang/gleam.git --branch v1.9.0-rc1

cd gleam

Build the Gleam compiler. This will take some time!

time make -j 12 install

Run cargo test

cargo test
