Feature request: interactive map with latitude/longitude box selection in Globus Search template

Hi,

we are developing a search UI using the DGPF, and would like to add an interactive map that allows users to draw a latitude/longitude box on the map, then apply that selection to a search query. Can this either be provided as an option in the DGPF, or included in one of the example data portals you host in github?

Attached is a screenshot of the search UI at data.ucar.edu to give you an idea of what we have in mind.
