Feature Request: Sliders or inputs for min/max range facet

This is already somewhat supported in DGPF - filter-range.<facet>=MIN_VALUE--MAX_VALUE - but only via checkboxes. Thomas Cram from NCAR would like either two inputs representing min/max values OR a slider to represent the same.

Thanks, Steve. Is there a way to query an open-ended range? I don't know what the syntax for this would look like ... perhaps something like filter-range.<facet>=MIN_VALUE--*, but I don't know if the asterisk * is correct.

An unbounded range is supported in Globus Search https://docs.globus.org/api/search/reference/post_query/#gfilterrange (see the Unbounded Numeric Range Example). Just need to see what that would look like in DGPF.
