Struggling with adding grbl to arduino 2.

Be gentle, I'm old and retired trying a hobby. I bought a Vevor cnc for a hobby. It didn't work so I bought new parts arduino uno and cnc shield. My problem I can't get grbl over to enduino? Believe me I've read every post and still can't figure it out? My arduino file has no library with it when I open the folder and I can't download the zip without errors. I've gone through the procedure for the 2. but don't understand it. Remember I'm old, This makes no since to me /

I've watched every youtube video and still am lost. Someone please help or it's back to the tavern with my buddies which is what I'm trying to avoid ! Wife says I need a hobby
