Missing colorful characters/emoticons in WSL

Hi,

probably not a terminator issue but can't find any hints to solve it...

Terminator is my favourite terminal emulation since many years so I'm also using it in more unusual setups like a Terminator on OpenSuse within WSL2 (emulation) on Win11. Using CLI applications like minikube with colorful icons I only see placeholders on the X11 window on Windows. I also tried packages symbols-only-nerd-fonts, nerd-fonts-JetBrainsMono, nerd-fonts-Hack etc. and also selected the JetBrainsMono directly in the Terminator profile. The font works but I still see placeholders.
On native OpenSuse installations I don't have that issue. Do you have any idea?
On WSL and X11 all the font issue should be within Linux and nothing about Windows fonts.

Just to mention this is how a minikube start should look like:

Works fine for me. Must be a font issue. Maybe none of the nerd-* or JetBrains fonts ship these symbols (I assume they focus on letters and regular symbols), these come from some fallback font which has a wide coverage of emojis, e.g. noto-color-emoji.
