noticed there is ASUS DSL-AX82U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.388_24919 with new dsl driver A2pv6L047f1.d28c
any chance you will get GPL from asus and update the driver ?

Oh, my mistake! I just realized that when Stability Adjustment is enabled, it automatically switches to a different driver. I hadn't noticed that behavior before.

Yes correct there are two DSL versions. I just checked just be sure and there are no driver updates in the latest GPL

Updated my 4x XT8v1 with wireless backhaul to 3004.388.9_2-gnuton0_betas - so far so good.

Interface breaks on some menus using DSL-AX82U. Going to WAN page shows incorrect set information in all fields and does not reflect what is actually set, as well as all menu items on the side disappear. Noticed that on a few menu items or sub items.

After updating to firmware TUF-AX5400_3004_388.9_2-gnuton0_beta1_tuf_puresqubi, the TUF interface disappeared.

Does this version having a working nfs server? Some time ago, didn't, and I decided then to wait - but no info about this has to be found..
Also, does samba server support smbv1 (yes, that Old Oppo bluray player isn't yet replaceable...)

The TUF-AX3000 v2 default firmware Beta1 also has missing menu items such as no Tools menu item at all. Many of the other menus items are also convoluted as others have reported. Will look at Beta 2.

Yep. Thanks for checking. the beta2 fixed issues for DSL ax82u and rt-ax5400 only. The tuff UI changes will come with beta3 most probably.

Im currently on RT-AX82u v2 firmware 3004.388.8_4-gnuton1 when I try and update to the beta 1 or beta 2 as I have tried both. The update does its thing with the bar on screen. Then comes back up with the login page an it is still on the 3004.388.8_4-gnuton1.

Also tried to download the image on the actions that downloads as zip and extracted it and still the same.

What is going on can someone help please?

May be connect over SSH, and run the following command:

         nvram set DOWNGRADE_CHECK_PASS=1

After that, you can upload Asuswrt-Merlin through
the webui like any regular firmware upgrade.

This is only required when flashing Asuswrt-Merlin
for the first time.

@shrek1802 please check the logs most probably there is a kernel exception somewhere.
AFAIK downgrade check pass is only necessary for BE routers.

So just tried again and the logs showed this about kernel what can I do to fix it please

All other firmwares for the v2 upto now have updated fine.

Confirmed same issue as shrek1802 has noted with same router. Running 3004.388.8_4-gnuton1 for a few months no issues. Looks like a good upload to 100% and then no errors on web interface, stays at the existing level of code.

TUF-AX5400 upgraded to beta3 and factory reset.

Missing Menus (Tools and DNS Director) fixed in default UI but not fixed in TUF UI.
New issue, all menus (General and Advanced Settings) on the left not visible in TUF UI.

Aicloud app cant get a connetion on AX58U. I dont know if it is only the app, but with Firmware RT-AX58U_V2_3004_388.8_4-gnuton1 it is working well.

I don't have either of these Asus routers any longer. Mostly using GL.iNet hardware these days & OpenWRT.
