You haven't provided any logs or even reproduction steps.
You marked that you can reproduce the fault on demo instance, but you have not provided URL to the reproduce.

I can only guess that your repository name exceeds database limits set.

Hi @TheFox0x7 , the follwoing repo name is "projects-editors-app-operator" which has more that 5200 branches , 6381 closed pr and 526 open pr. the only log i got is pq: value too long for type character varying(255)

Sorry but this isn't helpful. I don't have access to your repository (nor I want that). Something is longer than gitea's max allowed length in the database but that's everything I can learn from your report which is hardly enough to quickly locate the issue.

The only other thing I can learn is that migration errors and logs are lacking.

Please provide steps to reproduce the fault and more details about the import itself - is it just git repository you're importing or are issues, labels etc included as well.
