Issue description: Searching for "char()" via the "search docs"-field results in blocked page

I encountered an issue while trying to search for the "char()"-function.
After hitting "Enter", I was greeted by this page:

I can reproduce this. It doesn't happen if you search for char without parentheses, or char( with an opening parenthesis only. Searching for anything() is not blocked either.

I'm guessing this is Cloudflare trying to protect websites from SQL injection somehow (CHAR is a SQL type and CHAR(...) is a way to declare a new CHAR field). Since parentheses are unlikely to affect the search outcome noticeably, maybe we should just strip them upon sending the search form.

False, being able to search for parens is very important. If they're stripped, it's basically impossible to search for functions that are also common English words.
