From the software side, this is a good example of a Bazel-based project using the Pigweed framework. However, while Bazel itself is appealing, Pigweed can make simple tasks feel overcomplicated, and it is important to understand its pros and cons for a given project, as it tends to add complexity to the overall project structure.

From the PCB side, I am not confident that everything is correct, and I would not accept this design without a detailed review. Some of the project boards use a 6-layer stack-up, and in my view (that matches with hardware engineers), these boards may be prone to EMI and signal integrity issues due to the current layer organization and overall design choices.

Overall, the project appears to have been developed by a relatively new team or interns, as there are several areas in both the code and hardware design that could benefit from additional refinement. I would be more inclined to proceed with building it once it has undergone a thorough review and some enhancements by more experienced engineers to ensure a higher level of quality and reliability.

It is appreciated that the project has been made publicly available on GitHub, as this contributes to open development and knowledge sharing within the community.
