gemini-cli does not respond to the request

(I am not sure if this is the issue, could be mis-operation but could not find the good resource how to solve this situation.)

I just enabled gemini-cli github action on https://github.com/fujitatomoya/ros2_persist_parameter_server aligned with the procedure https://github.com/google-github-actions/run-gemini-cli?tab=readme-ov-file#quick-start.

but it does not seem that works as expected. gemini-cli does not respond the request, for example fujitatomoya/ros2_persist_parameter_server#37 (comment)

i guess that i maybe am missing something here.

I am also experiencing a similar issue where a trigger with @gemini-cli /review kicks off the workflow, but Gemini does not know what to do.

When looking into the GitHUb Acitons logs it just says "Ready to go. What can I help you with?"

I found that the gemini-cli workflow was very broken and resolved the problems locally, but only for the answering-requests use-case (I don't have a need for the other use-cases the workflow tries to handle, like asking gemini-cli to make commits).

hmmm, thanks for the information guys. at least i am not the only one who is facing this unstable behavior, that i can know that. i guess that is because this is still beta...

There's a quality issue in Gemini CLI generally since last week that the team is actively working on - google-gemini/gemini-cli#6474
