Ojibwe is spoken in the US in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan. There are less than 1000 speakers here but this language does exist and I speak it. Ojibwe/Ojibwa are the same language. There are a few language immersion schools in the US trying to help revitalize this language. It is part of the Algonquian language family. It was in the Guinness book of world records in 1996 for the most verb forms of any known language. Please do a better job of representing the first people of the United States.
