Inline images generated by the model are not displayed in the UI

Images generated by the model result in an empty text box.

To reproduce - create a simple agent with "gemini-3-pro-image-preview" model, ask it to generate an image. The model will respond with an inlineData Part, which doesn't get rendered:

I am encountering the same issue and have done some investigation to isolate the behavior.

I tested Two scenarios:

1. Tool Context + save_artifact: ✅ Works. The UI detects the artifact and renders the preview/diff.
2. Inline Data (Model Response): ❌ Fails. As reported by @slilichenko, this results in an empty box.
