I noticed that in some instances, certain releases are tagged as 'pre-release' and others release. Looking at the latest version, v0.50.0, this may make sense if its the latest release and not quite GA.
However if I look back at the history, v0.49.0 was tagged pre-release (which was never updated), then v0.49.1 was tagged as a release. Does that mean v0.49.1 was the GA release?
Similarly, if I look back at v0.48, there were multiple pre-releases, but no releases, and prior to this version, we were not using pre-release tags at all.
Be great to get some clarity here on the release strategy, and if we're using the pre-release flag as intended?
Many thanks
