Reusing content snippets - not rendering in toc

I followed https://www.docsy.dev/docs/adding-content/shortcodes/#reuse-documentation, but I noticed that the toc does not render the headings of these reusable files.
For example,

snippet1.md

### Custom Registries and SHA256 in GKE Autopilot
CONTENT

#### Why This Matters
CONTENT

I reused this snippet using {{% readfile "/docs/snippet/snippet1.md" %}}
The toc renders the parent file headings only. And not of the snippet I reuse.

Docsy version: 0.12.0

I see this issue is still open #1370.
Any idea when the fix will be rolled out?
