Could you make Polymer element for Realtime API?

@sethhoward1988 would it be possible to get added as a collab on this repo? I would rename this issue "Refactor realtime component to be reusable".

On that topic, I wrote the above <google-drive> element. Do you think the realtime work here makes sense as part of an extension of that work or is it separate enough to the Drive API work that we should do a <google-realtime-drive> element or similar?

Hey Addy, I'll be able to look at this in a bit. I'm currently traveling to
