Test failures on my Mac development setup

When I run the unit tests locally on my MacOS 15.6.1 ARM64 MacBook Pro, I see test failures in test_emitters.py using Python 3.13.7 that don't happen on CI. Here's a copy/paste of the full output from running the tests under tox on my system:

I don't understand what's different about my local development setup and the CI setup, or if the test failures I'm seeing are interesting or just noise due to something that's broken on my setup.
