Server Map settings

Hello, I am new to this community and process, so far I have the game working with the server allowing others to join (great!) I am just now wondering if the world will always be the same? is there a way to back it up or change the settings, (gamemode, difficulty, world size, etc.) or has the ability to do this not been implemented natively yet? thanks!

or is the server save file at least saved anywhere? I cannot locate that either to put in custom maps or something
