I need this too, my use case I don't have an RWX provisioner configured. I do have smb volumes avilable and can provide an RWX claim but the chart can't have it auto-provisioned from a PVC of it's own.

It looks like #35 is addressing this, unfortunately it has several other changes also. Any chance we can at least get this PVC section released I'm blocked on deploying due to it.
