Unable to retrieve the Braintree transaction_id after a successful transaction.

Hello,

I have tried adding a confirmation page to the form to retrieve the transaction_id from Braintree after a successful transaction but it is not available in the merge tags. Is it possible to access this data in a confirmation page in the controller or querystring?
