[Question] How to get a region out of an embedded nugget into the current nugget ?

So suppose I embed a nugget inside another parent nugget, but then I want to add something in the parent buffer. By default when I add some text to the end of the buffer it will go to the embedded nugget which I don't want. Any tips ?
