Things tried:

1. Reload VSCode
2. Disable -> reload -> Enable
3. Uninstall -> reload -> Install

Same for me.

• You install the extension
• navigate to the panels
• hit "Sign In"
• a notification pops up saying "signing in with github"
• then VSCode refreshes the current window
• and we're back on this screen here

Experiencing the same behavior in VS Code, @maxfriedmann. One thing that crossed my mind is that when I signed up (via invitation), I authenticated using Google SSO (not GitHub). Perhaps that landed me in a corner case where the integration with GitHub breaks?
