NVIDIA Auto Installer for Fedora Linux is now RETIRED #347

@gridhead

Description

@gridhead

It took me quite a while to get to this difficult conclusion, but I have decided that it is now time to retire this project for good. The methods of installing (and updating) NVIDIA drivers on Fedora Linux have evolved significantly in the last five years. The project was useful back in the day, but with a better maintained documentation and a growing helpful community, it has outlived its usefulness.

I thank the project stargazers, repository contributors, issue reporters, documentation writers and, most importantly, community users. This project would not have grown to even half the maturity that it has if it were not for you amazing folks. Please consider using the official RPM Fusion documentation around NVIDIA drivers and associated software if you use Fedora Linux on NVIDIA hardware.

Long live NVIDIA Auto Installer for Fedora Linux! [Fedora Linux 32 (2020) - Fedora Linux 42 (2025)]
