The current lock status only disables entry in the fields of content and title for a cell which can be easily reversed by the developer tools. It can be executed in an effective manner by providing status check - every time, contents are added to the title and content fields - as if it is locked and the person typing in is not the person who locked - then nothing would be conveyed to the other side and changes would be limited to that particular side only.
