What Went Wrong?

As the title implies, when I am importing books via the ingest folder, it will import properly. However when I receive a notification, it tells me there is a certain number of files which is not the same number as the books actually in the book drop folder. Even when refreshing the page it doesn't change.

In my particular case I had 14 books, however my notification tells me there are 4 pending books which is incorrect.

I am hosting Grimmory on a Debian 13 server using Docker v.29.1.1

How Can We Reproduce This?

1. Add books to the book drop folder and wait
2. Check the notification bell at the top to see how many pending books there are
3. Open the book drop section to see if that matches the pending review notification.

What Should Have Happened?

The notification should update, at least upon refresh, the proper amount of books in my book drop folder pending review

• Safari Version 26.4 (21624.1.16.11.4)
• Installation via Docker 29.1.1
• Storage Type is 11 disk mergerfs pool. configs are hosted on local ssd.
