[Feature]: Asset request can be approved sequentially by multiple managers

Hi.
I Hope the request for assets can be sequentially approved by administrators at multiple levels, and the asset checkout can only be completed after all approvals are finished. For example, the approval process could be: applicant -> applicant's direct supervisor -> Business Group administrator -> IT administrator. Is it possible to achieve this by setting up multi-level administrators for users/usergroup?
I've checked that someone has previously submitted a related request #7760, which has been added to the development list, but after 5 years, it seems there's still no related feature implemented.
