From my point of view Github has completed several enshittification stages such that I'm not using it for new projects.
In addition, Github's desperate push of Copilot is utterly annoying.
Every odd week I have to revisit the Github settings to make sure I'm opted out of some new 'AI' BS feature.
As of now it isn't even possible to disable Copilot completely on Github.
I'm thus considering migrating the dracut-sshd repository to an alternative git forge.
This issue is for collecting feedback from the community.
Alternatives
Currently, I see the following viable git forge alternatives:
Consequences
The migration of pasts issues and pull-requests might be impossible or a pain.
With an alternative we lose the convenience of github actions, but as enshittfication continues,
the quality and free-tier on gh likely erodes, as well.
Also, one can argue that the loss wouldn't be that great, since the CI can be executed locally with low effort.
