+Trang is a Master's student in Bioinformatics at the University of Melbourne. She studied Biology at Radboud University in the Netherlands, finishing in 2022 with a research project on azole-resistant *Aspergillus fumigatus*. Before moving to Melbourne, she worked as a bioinformatics assistant at the Oxford University Clinical Research Unit in Hanoi, focusing on pathogenic Enterobacteriaceae and plasmid-mediated antimicrobial resistance. Her current project in the Tonkin-Hill lab explores the oral–gut microbiome in biliary tract cancer.
