Proposal 1: Favorite tracks and sorting in the audio player

Title: Add a "Favorites" feature and an option to hide a track in the audio player.

Problem description / User story: As a user, I often listen to music through FileBrowser Quantum’s built-in player. A folder can contain many files, and I would like to be able to mark my favorite songs so they always appear at the top of the list, and temporarily hide unwanted tracks without deleting them.

Proposed solution:

    "Favorite" button (heart icon): Add a heart icon next to each track in the playlist. Clicking it would add the track to "Favorites".

    Sorting: Add automatic sorting so that hearted tracks always appear at the top of the list.

    "Hide" button: Add a button (e.g., an eye icon with a slash) that removes a track from the current playlist. Optionally, add a separate hidden section from which the track can be restored.

Additional context: This is similar to a "pin" feature for files, but applied to the audio player.

Proposal 2: Karaoke mode with lyrics loaded from .txt/.lrc files

Title: Integration of a karaoke field with support for song text files.

Problem description / User story: As a user, I would like to sing along to my favorite songs. It would be great if FileBrowser Quantum could automatically load the lyrics from a file stored next to the audio track.

Proposed solution:

    Karaoke panel: Add a separate panel to the music player interface (possibly expandable on click) that displays the song lyrics.

    Auto-loading of lyrics: The player could automatically search for a lyrics file in the same folder as the track. Search priority: a file with the same name as the audio track but with a .lrc extension (a karaoke format with timestamps), .txt or .sub.

Additional context: This is a common feature in desktop music players and media centers.

Proposal 3: Archive extraction with a progress bar

Title: Add a progress bar when extracting archives.

Problem description / User story: As a user, I sometimes extract large archives (ZIP, RAR, 7z). When I click "extract", the interface freezes until the operation completes, which causes uncertainty and a poor user experience.

Proposed solution:

    Visual feedback: Show a modal window or notification with a progress bar once extraction starts.

    Informative details: The progress bar should show percentage completion (45%) or progress in files (file 12 of 50). It would be helpful to also display a textual description of the process, e.g., "Extracting: vacation_photo.jpg".

    Cancel option: A "Cancel" button should be placed next to the progress bar to allow interrupting the operation.

Additional context: This is a standard UX expectation for any long-running operation.

I'm working in the point two btw! I was also thinking in this feat. Right now is very early and needs adjustments (lots of them), but is working.

@gtsteffaniak I'm doing this against the v2.0.0 branch, is fine, or I should do it against v1.4.0?

Currently, playback support for lossless formats is limited. Kindly consider adding compatibility with additional lossless codecs - .m4a, .aiff, .flac, .wav, .wv, .ape, .thd, .dts-hd, .mlp, .ofr, .ofs, .tta, .wma, .mp4, .shn

I hope that in the future you'll be able to support extracting archives larger than 20 GB! Thank you.

If your browser supports it, it should play. support is mostly managed by what browser you use, not the program itself.

also for extracting large archives, you can configure that: https://filebrowserquantum.com/en/docs/configuration/server/#maxarchivesize

There are risks -- users could overwhelm your server.
