unRAID template

I use UnRaid and have been using the old filebrowser. I wanted to migrate to the new filebrowser quantum, but searching through the unraid appstore, there is none hosted ATM.

Do you have any plans on publishing to the Unraid app store?

You can use the Docker Compose Manager plugin in Unraid. Thats what i did.

@DrZacharySmith I don't think that is a good approach. Instead, what I am doing is just adding a manual container through the unRAID GUI, and it's been working great. But putting it on the App Store would be ideal. I can then just search and install.

If you're not familiar with UnRAID, it's a Linux based OS which runs docker containers and is managed via a web UI.

Use the file browser-pnp template on the App Store for now. Change too match this "using your hosts paths" since idk if your app data is on cache or not. If it's not happy about the config.yaml it's likely incorrect formatting or the container path is wrong.

@thoroughmas , I just ran into this same issue - the config isn't generated automatically. Here is a config you can paste https://github.com/gtsteffaniak/filebrowser/blob/main/backend/config.yaml - which should follow the template.

I really like this version. Thanks for your work!
A little tip for installation: I used the "FileBrowser-PNP" file from the App Store as a template and simply entered "gtstef/filebrowser" in the "Source:" field! And let me tell you, it worked right away. ;-)

My thoughts exactly, though I have yet to make the switch. Did you already have a working PNP installation? If so, did it work right away or did you have issues/things to fix?

Unfortunately not! The installation is only temporary and is likely only installed in RAM.

Unfortunately, I haven't yet found a way or instructions to permanently install FileBrowser, meaning to have it retain my settings. It's a shame, as it's not permanently usable this way.

Can’t seem to get this installed and setup properly on unRAID. Mostly that it doesn’t seem to setup the database or read the config.yaml file. If anyone here has any advice or a guide on setting this up, that would be amazing- if not will probably just wait for the official unraid plugin release :)
