Log level field (and probably others) is not picked up by logs.gutools correctly

Searching the logs for this app on logs.gutools (e.g. this search) shows that the level information in the logs is not being picked up correctly by elasticsearch as a separate field. (It also has terminal ansi colour codes in it, which may be part of the cause.)

For example, the message field value for one log line is

�[31mWARN �[0;39m c.Application - Panda cookie missing

and should presumably instead be

Panda cookie missing
