Vintageous doesn't recognize colon (":") for entering Vim commands

I'm using Sublime Text 3 build 4152 (latest as I write), and installed Vintageous. When I use ":" to enter a command, e.g., :wq, nothing happens when I hit ":". (Yes I press Esc key first to get out of editor mode.)
