Component missing

After ordered boards to pcbway Im not able allocate r2. My usual provider has run out of viking resistors 8.2kOhm. Do I really need if I dont connect boards (just planed use as is, one single mainboard) ???

Is not only for the external chaining, is also to prevent the GPIO bug of the Pico 2. If you use a Pico instead of a Pico 2 it is not needed, but with the Pico 2 you may find instances where the trigger triggers randomly... You can use a lower value, 8.2k is the biggest safe value to avoid the bug, but you can use something like 6k8, 5k2 or 4k7, is a bit less power efficient but it will work properly.

Ok! Thank you! Im gonna remove from my pico W board and set it on my new pico 2 W board. Im very anxious to test the new design with pico 2 W. ;-)

There is no firmware for the Pico 2 W, I'm working on it...
