Is not only for the external chaining, is also to prevent the GPIO bug of the Pico 2. If you use a Pico instead of a Pico 2 it is not needed, but with the Pico 2 you may find instances where the trigger triggers randomly... You can use a lower value, 8.2k is the biggest safe value to avoid the bug, but you can use something like 6k8, 5k2 or 4k7, is a bit less power efficient but it will work properly. |

After ordered boards to pcbway Im not able allocate r2. My usual provider has run out of viking resistors 8.2kOhm. Do I really need if I dont connect boards (just planed use as is, one single mainboard) ???
