Presamples question

I am capturing a test pattern of pulses that are 4uS wide and repeat every 32uS. with 30,000 presamples and 100,000 postsamples and 10MHz sample rate.

The samples are exactly as expected after the trigger point but I see nothing in the pre-trigger area. It's like the presample setting has no effect.

Maybe I am doing something wrong or I don't understand the presample functionality.

I am using version 6.5 which seems to work the same as 6.0 with the addition of profiles and the samples in screen staying set after a re-sample. Both nice features. I haven't found any issues with 6.5 yet.
