<p class="body">Established in June of 1992, NAODAN Chartering Inc. is located in the United States Pacific Northwest on Mercer Island in Washington state. For nearly 30 years, NAODAN has earned a reputation as a trusted partner to timber and bulk cargo shippers worldwide, facilitating successful global ocean transportation solutions.</p>

<p class="bio rounded">Dan began his education in shipping at SUNY Maritime College, graduating in 1981 with a U.S. unlimited 3rd officers license and a B.S. degree in Marine Transportation Management. After graduation Dan was employed at the Manhattan offices of Sanko Steamship Company of Japan. Having spent several years working in operations and chartering in Tokyo and Vancouver B.C., Dan joined a brokerage company in 1986 and founded NAODAN Chartering in 1992.</p>

Before joining Maersk Broker, Claus was the Senior Vice President and Deputy for J.Lauritzen. Claus has completed an Advanced Management Program at IESE–Barcelona, and is fluent in English, Danish and Spanish.</p>
