Description

What is the page you would like to see the change on?
https://test.workshops.library.gwu.edu/workshops/new

What do you think it should look like? Screenshots, sketches, or other illustrations are helpful.
I'm writing to suggest some explanatory text/changes to the 'Propose a New Workshop' page. There should be an indication on the top of the page that an asterisk means that these fields are required and I'm adding a couple additional 1-2 sentences for some fields. If there are three options or less, it should be presented as button-select vs dropdown (ex: change modality from dropdown to buttons).

Propose a New Workshop

Use the form below to share details of your proposed workshop. Fields indicated with an asterisk are required for submission.

Title*
[Insert workshop title field]

Workshop Description*
Provide a 2-3 sentence description of your workshop based on your learning objectives. Please include any technical requirements or prerequisites.
[Insert a brief description of the workshop field]

Facilitators* CS note: Daphna and I were debating if this should be required - I think we could go either way...
[Facilitator dropdown]

Workshop modality*
[three button: In-Person, Virtual, Hybrid]

Virtual Location CS note: is there a way to only present virtual or in-person location based on modality selection? then virtual+in-person for hybrid?
[If offered virtually, what is the link to join?]

In-Person Location
[If offered in-person, where is it happening?]

Attendance Collection*
If you need to collect attendance information for each participant, select 'individual'. If you plan to track only total attendance numbers, select 'total'.
[button options: Individual Attendance, Total Attendance]

Registration Required*
If the workshop requires participants to apply, select 'Application Required' - you will create the application questionnaire on the next page. If registration is required but admission is automatic, select 'Registration Required'. If no registration is required, select 'No Registration Required'
[button options: Application Required, Registration Required, No Registration Required"]

Start Time*
[date and time selection - would be awesome if this could be a calendar select vs. individual dropdowns]

End Time*
[date and time selection - would be awesome if this could be a calendar select vs. individual dropdowns]
