You probably have continuity camera enabled and that confuses Deep-Live-Cam. Turning continuity camera off on my iphone fixed this particular issue for me

Hi all, fixed this issue by using terminal instead of vscode terminal/ IDE terminal. It seems VSCODE has permission issues on Mac that the devs didn't catch because they were in some sort of dev mode

Make sure you activate the source through source venv/bin/activate before running and ensure you are on 3.10

I'm also experiencing this issue on macOS 15.4.1. I've tried multiple approaches to resolve it:

1. Created a fresh Python 3.10 environment using Conda
2. Disabled Continuity Camera functionality on my iPhone and Mac
3. Tried running from the regular Terminal instead of VSCode/IDE terminal
4. Tried both with and without the --execution-provider coreml flag

Still experiencing the same error

Hi all, this can be a common issue with Macs. I have a patch which should solve the problem, I would appreciate anyone who wants to pull it and test it (it fixed it for me):

Also make sure Terminal (or whatever IDE you are using) has Camera access in System Settings > Privacy > Camera.
