Describe the bug
Since WL 12.2 we can replace x
with f[x]
with the ApplyTo
operator like this:
x //= f
when this code is reformatted, a space is inserted after the second slash effectively introducing a bug in the code:
x // = f
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behaviour:
- Select code that includes the
ApplyTo
operator shortcut//=
- Select "Format Code" from the "Code" menu or press ALT-CTRL-L or
Expected behaviour
The sequence of three characters //=
should be treated as a single character, never to be separated.
