Support for Cloud Connect

Hi, team

I'm trying to implement this code for a cloud connect app,

I would suggest adding a flag in the connect class, example:

cloud=True

So the descriptor gains the https instead of http, cloud does not accept http.

Also,

The implementation is not working "smoothly" for cloud, I've added a logic where I store the data gathered in the installed (lifecycle) but it's not working really well,

Considering this repo was developed in 2017, I don't exactly expect changes done, just letting you guys know.

I've contacted Gavin before using this repo to understand if it was still working, apparantly, for cloud it is not.

ps. Tried opening a PR with the code suggestion but could not.
