Customize pattern

Hello,

I want to use customize pattern @[@Name of user](user:@userId) as string when select mention from suggestion but want to display only @name of user on AutoCompleteTextView.

Hi Milan,

If you are certain that @​Name always starts with an uppercase character, you could set a mention pattern, something like:

textView.setMentionPattern(Pattern.compile("@([A-Z]\\w+)"));

This ignores @​userId, provided that it is never uppercase first. You could also use symbols other than # and @ to annotate @​userId, but I understand it is less common.

I have done with separate logic

• created separate hashmap and adding item when item click from suggestion
• modify comment before submit
