I just noticed the updated Import from CSV dialog is not showing what columns Allows null.

But this is only happening on certain tables. I will try to track it down more.

Expected behavior
The import has been working just fine, but it is not showing what fields/columns can be null.

Side Note: I really like the look and feel of the Import dialog, but it does take more time to display the dialog (on average 10 secs)

What database server is this for? Oracle?

More information ... I will keep on triaging

When the dialog comes up the Allows null column is not populated properly

So I pick another table for fun (which is obviously wrong)

Then I reselect the correct table and everything looks good.

The 2nd query is much fater, but they returned different number of records.
I ran them in two different windows one after the other 5 times and got basically the same results.

1st query: 10.253 secs (2391 records)

2nd query: 1.396 secs (2197 records)

Found the record difference.

The 1st query returns VIEWS, the 2nd query does not.

No views indeed, which is a win as we can't import into them anyway. If you get the chance, could you try this build:

Also, check for the horizontal scrollers as well if possible. If you can reproduce the scrolling again. I made another small change.

Edit: This should be faster at loading the tables and should show the nullable without needing to swap between tables.

Sorry to disappoint here are the result for Version 2026.100 (Build 111225)

• Showing the table import dialog is much slower (35 secs). I am on VPN, but that should case that much of a delay.

• For this table ZPM_ASSAY_DETAIL_IC2CKIT_384 it is not checking the Allows null checkbox when initially displayed.

• It is now showing horizontal scroll bars in all panes when first displayed, with respect to issue Scroll bar hardly visible #712

I ran the queries again and still the 2nd query (CTE) is only taking 1.283 secs

So the two issues from this are NOT solved. But the horizontal scroller issue seems like it may be?

I think part of this may be the that the import dialog uses a new connection (which take a few seconds especially if your on a vpn). If you disconnect all via right click on server node and run the queue again in the query tab is it still sub 2 seconds or does it slow down the first run (when it needs to reconnect)?

Yes, 1.421 secs, 0.686 secs, 0.987 secs

I will be back in the office tomorrow morning here in Frederick MD (EST) and can check the timings again.

When your back in, could you reproduce again and provide the logs? (Clear the logs, reproduce so its fresh logs, provide this logs). Specifically I'm looking for lines similar to:

x is going to load tables for import.
x finished loading tables for import. Found N.
[Import] postTablesLoaded: starting. Tables: N
[Import] postTablesLoaded: completed.
Import HSDataTypeDetector took 0.XX.

But the entirety would be best if possible.
