Hi! Sure, I will continue to bring features/fixes to this one.

But just to let you know that this library is not intended to replace dart-lang/markdown. I eventually hope that all the features in this library can be implemented on dart-lang/markdown, as you can see from the PRs I submitted to dart-lang/markdown, but this may take a very long time, this is the reason why I created this project.

So if you need a new feature that relay on the core of this library, I will implement it in this library first.

Good to know 🙂 I started this issue in the first place because of the other one where you talked about WYSIWYM markdown editor input and I am exactly in this case! Trying to migrate one of my project from React Native to Flutter and I needed a clean way to keep the AST (+ positions) and be able to modify it (user could use shortcuts) and also create back a markdown from this AST.

By the way, I am struggling on learning Rust at this moment sob , this is the reason why this project seems dying.

Hope your pain will ease with Rust, I did a very small webserver with it and it was probably the most painful language I had to work with 😄 but performances were on point!

I see, so this project supports positions, unfortunately I do not think dart-lang/markdown will support it in short time. I will invite you to the editor project which is private at this moment.
