Dead lock when holding "TAB"

To reproduce you can open http://harvesthq.github.io/chosen/ and hold the TAB key for a while.

The bug appears when form has many controls and an user uses the TAB/Shift+TAB keys to navigate to a form element quickly.

I just tried this with Chrome 28 for Mac and wasn't able to reproduce this issue. What browser and OS are you using?

Hi, OS Linux (x86_64) and the browser is Google Chrome 28.

@kenearley My machine is significantly more taxed for resources than yours, I believe. Particularly RAM. But who knows!

I have 14Gb of RAM and 8 cores (almost 4GHz) CPU, so performance is not an issue here I think. I saw there are timeouts in the code (input focus/blur functions), perhaps that's the case?

I was able to reproduce in Safari if I held Shift + Tab down after selecting a Chosen instance. It's a weird bug for sure, but it's not a priority fix kind of thing. Holding Tab down is definitely not normal behavior.

It is very subjective. I suffered from it a few times already and have the ticket (in my project bug tracker) reported by other users.

if by bug you mean the flickering selects

I was also able to reproduce this issue. It happens because focus is set back to the input after the results are shown, If the user has tabbed outside of the input, the plugin traps them back. I commented out the line with "this.search_field.focus();" in the results_show function and it seems to work after some light testing, but I haven't explored all the side effects.
