Show and hide is not working on click of radio button

Hi i am having trouble in customizing choser jquery multiselect option. my requirement is to hide and show multi select option on click of radio button

by default it should be hidden and on click of Specialty it should be visible. Any idea?

t is not working when i am using normal show and hide jquery and javascript!

According to the contributing guide you should ask such questions on StackOverflow.

But I think I can answer your question right here.

You should start of with a visible select, as the width of the select can't be determined by Chosen when it is not visible (currently being addressed in #1439) and hide it when Chosen is initialized (indicated by the `chosen:ready event).

$('#my-select').on('chosen:ready', function(){
   $('#my-select').hide();
});

And after that you should be able to show and hide the select.
