Suggestion: ability to paste multiple items in edit box, separated by coma/semicolon in multiple selection box

Is it possible to implement the ability of getting the multiple items from a text, where every item is separated by coma or semicolon, to multiple selection box for fast copy-pasting? (I've made pull request #2846, but it must be reviewed, I don't know the architecture of your project).
