Keeps logging users out regularly?

I have an issue where it seems to be loggin users out too regularly, I am using the default settings and actively using the site, and it logs me out several times an hour.

So don't have a definite fix as of yet..

Could you post your logon and validation related settings (eg. validation on reload?), are you using the remember-me feature? and just out of curiosity: might you be using overlapping AJAX requests?

Also as for your behaviour, do you login to the account from several sources (several computers or mobiles/apps?

I think that happend becouse in some place ther are a lot ajax call , and make that randomly logout user, in my case, a lot of ajax requests make to user logout, how can i fix it?, i see that in some part delete cookies

Hi, have you fixed your problem? I'm having the same issue ... logging users out randomly ... and im in the middle of decision to refactor my whole project to ion_auth because of this ...

if your problem is with ajax calls , is a CI problem, a lack of ajax call cause logout, and on tab change too, some fix here http://forum.codeigniter.com/thread-537.html?highlight=ajax

now with new CI3 session drive seems to work fine, but must be carrefuly, becouse you need to do some changes to upgrate it.
