Standard barcodes

This is a very interesting piece of software, my use case for it is probably a little outside of what it's intended for but, that said its really the best thing in the open source space to do what i want. and that is simple

I use it to track products i manufacture for my small business, build dates warranty etc The label generator would almost be epic, if it didn't use QR Code links to back to homebrew, i understand the way most people use it that's the preferred functionality.

But for me with products that end up in customer hands, it would be much more useful if it was a standard barcode that they wouldn't get a link back to our homebrew page. Honestly in our use case, no bar code would be better than the QR code to be honest.. but a standard barcode toggle option would be most ideal, in our view at least. it would still let us scan incoming warranty claims and quickly get a reference to its details but wouldn't work for the end user as it does now.
