How can I expand to the current selection using Alt-n

I expected to be able to expand the current selection when I use v + Alt-n to select the next occurence of the text object and add it to the current selection.

Why isn't it the case and how can I achieve this behavior ?

Try this in your config:

[keys.select]
"A-n" = ["search_selection", "extend_search_next"]

Ok, I just noticed that I also have this keybinding in [keys.normal]. So

[keys.normal]
"A-n" = ["search_selection", "extend_search_next"]

Does that work?

@mweihs unfortunately, that doesn't work for tree sitter objects, only for selected text.

Hi @qleguennec, have you found how to do this?

My use case was moving some tests between files, so I selected a test function with mif and expected that selection mode followed by Alt + n is going to expand the selection to the next function.
